Women's Strength Training Misconception #1 - Women will get grotesquely masculine when they weight train.

The common image of a female who weight trains is the professional bodybuilder who is veiny and huge, looking extremely manly and unappealing to look at, who has an oiled up and gargantuan structure.

However, remember that with that body image comes lots of steroid supplements to give them that bulk.

As the amount of testosterone necessary to build those muscles isn't available in women, it's the only possible explanation. Just lifting weights will not give a woman that huge physique; they're supplementing it with steroids.

Female Strength Training Misconception #2 - Women lose their breasts when they weight train.

You'll mostly find fat tissue in your breasts. If you have less body fat, your breasts will be smaller.

Only if women lose a significant portion of their body fat will their breasts shrink in size.

If you weight train, you build up muscle. You can create the seductive curves to your body you want by adding strength training to your regimen, as it will develop your chest muscles. You'll also get great cleavage that will make your beach look fabulous if you make sure your chest is properly developed.

Female Strength Training Misconception #3 - If a woman stops her training, all that muscle will just become fat.

One thing that stops a lot of women from weight training is the worry that they'll gain a lot of fat once they stop.

You'll find that muscle and fat have nothing whatsoever to do with each other. Muscle's function is to burn calories, whereas fat's function is to store fat cells.

There's no alchemy involved; they cannot turn into the other under any circumstance, so don't worry. You can just gain or lose muscle or fat, there's no in between. They can't swap whenever the occasion hits.

Female Strength Training Misconception #4 - You'll weigh more if you have muscle. .

Women often fall victim to this erroneous claim. Counselors like Dr. Phil debunk this myth all the time in books and programs.

No matter what form it comes in, a pound is a pound, whether it's muscle or fat. In spite of this similarity, muscle is denser and slimmer than fat, so it's really to your advantage to have more of one than the other.

If you develop a greater amount of muscle in exchange for body fat, you'll look tighter, sexier, and toned, just like you always dreamed of looking.

The fact is, doing weight training and developing female muscle growth will make you even more feminine and sensual.
