In addition to assisting dentists, a dental assistant will also deal with patients. The last skill that is good to be honed by dental assistants is dexterity. They will be performing duties such as making casts of the teeth from impressions, cleaning removable appliances, sterilizing instruments and making temporary crowns. Performing these tasks require the use of both hands. As such, it will be good if they can hone this skill through a set of exercises.
